Thomas Edison State University has been recognized by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association and New Jersey Business Magazine for its commitment to DEI initiatives.
The University joins four companies, two business associations and a nonprofit organization in receiving the third annual NJ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Award. According to New Jersey Business Magazine, those selected “realize that the workforce has changes; that DEI initiatives today are moving families, society, culture and businesses forward.”

Hancock, president. “At TESU, we are stronger and smarter as we purposefully champion and embrace the diverse voices of our students, staff and community. Thank you, NJBIA, for highlighting the good work that is being accomplished across New Jersey and our collective challenge to continue growing as a community.”
Joining TESU on the list are Alexena Consulting, Fish Alloy, MBT Bank, the Newark Regional Business Partnership, the New Jersey Society of CPAs, Spano Family Charitable Foundation, Inc., and UPS.
